Providing an extra dose of warmth for everyone who attends Light Up the Square Mississauga, EZblocks will host the celebration’s warming station during its full seasonal run, Nov. 20-Jan. 2. In addition, EZblocks created bumper walls for Celebration Square rink’s festive roller/ice rink for the annual holiday event.
Light Up the Square kicked off with an official ceremony, music from the Mississauga Symphony Orchestra and lighting of the 40-foot Christmas tree on Nov. 20. The multi-week festival of lights features interactive, light-based art, food and drink, and fun for the entire family.
“We love joining in on the holiday fun with communities across Canada while enhancing the ‘wow’ factor with the versatility of EZblocks,” said Mark Lavelle, Global Sales Director, EZblocks. “From skating rinks to safety barriers for restaurants to benches and art installations, EZblocks can make winter that much more enjoyable for everyone.”
The Light Up the Square warming house and skating rink bumpers were created with EZblocks’ LEGO-like building blocks, designed for strength, adaptability and ease of use. EZblocks’ white-glove service includes delivery, installation and removal, and structures can be rented on a monthly, seasonal or annual basis.
